B004 City of Bastrop

WETS installed an aerator in Texas for the City of Bastrop back in 1986. The aerator is capable of handling 1000 gpm of well water. The square aerator has the dimensions of 7 ft by 7 ft by 11 ft in height with a cross sectional area of 49 ft2. The installed fan capacity is 4000 cfm. The well water being produced contains high levels of iron and manganese; therefore, the installed aerator aids in oxidizing iron and turning it into insoluble precipitates.
